Hey there! I'm Jildert! Thanks for taking the time to check out my page.
I'd like to say that I was born with a passion for media, chiefly
because I have no clue where it actually originated.
My interests run wild on a kilometres-long spectrum, and
media seemed like the place where all of those interests
collided in a huge big bang of ideas.
Media moves, it creates, it influences and shapes people.
Including myself! I got lost in the crazy fantastical worlds of Martin
and Tolkien, the amazing suspense of a Tarantino classic or the
angst-ridden screams of Chester Bennington.
It spawned the question; wouldn't it be nice to visualize my own
ideas to inspire others?
well... Yes.
Me.
Off I went! Through books and YouTube, I learned as much about cinematography, storytelling, and video engineering as possible!
From capturing those cinematic shots behind the camera to
crafting seamless narratives in the editing room. I realized there is
only so much you can read and watch until you reach a plateau
in your progression.
You have to do stuff, throw it at the wall of trial and error to
eventually reach the point beyond perfectionism and honestly
say to yourself: 'That looks pretty good, let's make it even
better! This website serves as a record of that progression.
